riders coming from Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania and even as far away as Canada. The 12Scc A class was the one to watch on this sunny Sunday. Dieter got the moto·one holes hot on his Yamaha four-stroke, with Ohioans Jeffrey "Bo" Bowman and Sam Isabel in tow. The three of them ran neck and neck for a few laps until Bowman's bike started smoking. Bo kept on riding until it appeared that something had let loose in his Y22S0F's engine, as oil was pouring out the bottom. This left Dieter with a slight lead and Isabel all alone in second. Lap after lap, Isabel picked away at Dieter's lead until he caught up and made the pass. Isabel then held off Dieter for the mota win. ':A.aron, Bo and I were all in that order for about five laps," Isabel said of the first mota, "until Bo's bike started spitting oil everywhere. I knew that it was about to go out on him, so I figured I could help him out a little bit in case it blew up on the face of a jump. So I hung back a little bit only for about a lap or so untill decided I just had to take the risk, dig deep, and try to make the pass. I came up on the inside of Bo in the first corner, and we were side by side, and that's when his bike went out on him, so the pass was a little easier for me. On the lap before the last. I closed the gap up with Dieter and squared him up in the corner before the finish-line jump; I gave him a look in the air· that's always fun. On the last lap, I managed to pull approximately a two-second lead on him, and that was a good feeling crossing the finish line, because I had a lot of fun and tried my hardest. Those guys are really fun to ride with, and it seems like every time so far that I have been riding with Bo, we have a really fun time going big." The second moto found Bowman on a borrowed bike. Dieter again got the early lead, but this time Isabel was right behind him, with Bowman trailing. The trio once again pulled away from the pack. As they encountered lapped traffic, Dieter was able to get a little breathing room. The lappers weren't kind to Isabel; he got held up, allowing Bowman to sneak by. Isabel kept pushing his YZ2S0F but ran out of time. Dieter got the win, with Bowman second and Isabel third. The overall went to Dieter, second to Isabel, and third to Honda-mounted Ron Nye.
