Woodland MX Parle Bunker's Back and Blazingl By JUSTIN WHARTON WOODLAND, WA, FEB. 13 M ark Bunker was on fire at the sandy Woodland MX Park, as the Yamaha rider went four for four to take the victory in the 250cc Expert and Before The Hill classes. Bunker was the dominant figure in the Before The Hill class, as the Woodland regular is making a comeback after taking a break from racing. You wouldn't have known he'd been absent, though, as Bunker seemed untouchable on his way to a twO- moto decimation. Second overall went to Gunnar Strum (2-2), and Justin Vanslyke put in an awesome ride to take third on a 6-3 tally. Mitchell Rask (5-4) took fourth, and Jeff Reed (7-5) rounded out the top five. In the 2S0cc Expert class, Bunker swept both motas to take the win over the Honda-mounted Dustin Lafave (2-2) who took second. Someone who has really turned some heads lately, Derek Campbell (4-3), finished third. Donny 5heatsley (3-4) finished fourth, and Jeremy Despain (5-5) took fifth. Matt Houseman used consistent second-place finishes to take the overall win in the 12Scc Amateur class. Despite winning the first moto, Skinners third-place finish in the second mota held him to second overall. Vanslyke (4-1) struggled in the first moto and had to settle for third overall. David Cox took fourth, and Brandon Pilot (5-6) was fifth. Rask came out swinging in the 125cc Expert class, and despite not winning either moto, he still took the overall win with a 3-2 tally. Campbell (2-3) took second-place honors, and the Pro Caliber-backed Chris Holum (1-4) finished third. Chris' little brother Nick Holum (6-1) took fourth, and Strum (5-6) finished fifth.
