McMackin, Meusling and Washington's Jeff Alboucq made the evening's opening race interesting, as the Intermediate-class trio was head and shoulders above the rest of the competition in the combined Before The Hill Junior/Intermediate contest. Meusling, though, was the only rider all night long to stick with McMackin; Meusling stayed in McMackin's shadow for the entire opening moto, but he couldn't find a way past the yz pilot. The story was much the same in moto two; it was again McMackin dominating for his first overall win of the night. Suzuki rider Philip Springer's 3-1 finishes in the Junior portion earned the local rider the overall class win, followed by Tyler McClinton (2-2), first-mota winner Jeremiah Sparks (1-3), Allen Yother (S-4), and Tyler Schwentker, whose 4-6 placings rounded out the top five. Woodland MX Park Johnson Jams to Woodland Win By JUSTIN WHARTON WOODLAND, WA, JAN. 22 ORCS series regular Chris johnson was amazing at Woodland MX Park, as the Kawasaki rider won fIVe out of six motos to take the wins in the 12Scc Intermediate, 2SOcc Intermediate and Before The Hill classes. His only moto loss came in the 250cc Intermediate class, but although he had a rough slide-out in a sweeper, he still won the overall.
