Mike laRocco reached another milestone in his 18th year as a professional motocrosser. This was lc1Rocco's 80th career podium finish in Supercross. Bubba Update: It appears that Kawasaki's James Stewart will retum to action at the Orlando Supercross, but if he gets the okay from his doctor and he feels 100 percent, he could retum earlier. Stewart is healing quickly from his broken arm and has already started riding again. Chad Reed will leave Sunday to retum to his home in Florida, where he'll stay for the rest of the year, now that the Supercross Series will be taking its long East Coast swing and that there are only a few rounds, including the outdoor Nationals, left to be held on the West Coast for the rest of the year. ''I'm really excited," Reed said about going back home to Florida permanently. "I fly back tomorrow morning [Sunday] early, I can't wait. I have two brandnew tracks back there, never been ridden, and I'm excited to have that available to me. In Florida, my life changes a lot. I have a lot more time to myself. I can do my deal, play some golf and just have a fun time." For the first time in a long, long time, Ricky Carmichael had to transfer to the main through a semi. While leading his heat race, Carmichael crashed pretty hard over a section of jumps and was lucky to come out of it unharmed, but the same could not be said for his bike. "I just tried to scrub a little too much speed off that little obstacle there before the triple, and my front tire didn't hit the top of it there good enough, and I endoed into the third one," Carmichael said of the crash. "I kind of went over and tweaked my bike," Jeremy McGrath had an interesting thing to say about all of his holeshots tonight: "It's the weirdest thing, you won't believe it," he said. "I could feel I was going to get the holeshots today. It was the weirdest thing. Before I even came to the track I was like, 'I'm going to get some holeshots today.' It wasn't like I was trying to tell myself, it was like a feeling I had. It was amazing: hadn't had a feeling like that in a longtime."
