There was a spectator area referred to as "The Pit," where the riders could go through a series of jumps if they were so inclined, and the Pros put on quite a show~ "Go over there and watch the Pros come through," advised TORO scoring director jeff Van Maire. "You'll see why Lafferty gets paid for what he does~ He's amazing~" In the end, it was Lafferty, jenks, Gallt, Weeks and Motorsports/MSRJGaerne's Man Crouch rounding out the top five. Despite his sixth-place finish, SCR/Yamaha/Answer/ Dunlop's Steve Leivan is locked into his third straight AA TORO championship. The order of second through fifth place in the AA class will be decided at the final round of the winter series in Denton, Texas.
