It'§ All About Victory Victory Motorcycles has just launched their own quarterly magazine focusing on their own bikes, owners and events. The magazine is titled Victory Rider and is the official magazine of the Victory Riders Association (VRA). The magazine puts the spotlight on Victory owners with departments such as "V People," which consists of photos and profiles of riders and their bikes, and also "V Mail," which features readers photos and letters describing the experiences on their Victory motorcycles. "Victory Rider focuses on Victory owners and on what they ride, where they ride, and who they're enjoying the Victory experience with," said Victory marketing manager Derek Scott. "It also gives them exclusive insider information so they're the best-informed riders on the road and they know what goes into the development of their motorcycles." The first issue includes a photo feature called "2004 in Review," with shots of Victory riders at events such as Daytona Bike Week, the Polaris 50th Anniversary Celebration, Kyle Petty Charity Ride, Sturgis, Biketoberfest and the 50 States Ride. The feature is complemented by a special DVD that was created exclusively for Victory owners and is bound into the magazine. The DVD contains video highlights of Victory riders at the Polaris 50th event and at Sturgis. The inaugural issue also has two features that give VRA members an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at Victory development and engineering: "Inside the Design Studio" and ':o\natomy of the Hammer." In the first article, lead Victory industrial designer Mike Song reveals concept draWings and photos of preproduction models of the Victory Hammer. In the ':o\natomy" article, Gary Gray, a Victory lead project engineer, gives readers detailed information about the design, technology, components and performance of the all-new Hammer. Each issue of Victory Rider also includes a "V Insider" column from a key member of the Victory team, Victory news, service and maintenance information, event coverage and more. Victory Rider will be published quarterly and mailed to Victory owners as a VRA membership benefit. To cast your vote, log on to www.cyclenews.com.
