They are a great way for magazines such as Cycle News to bond with their advertisers and show them how much we appreciate their support. On Wednesday, january 19, the first (and we hope annual) Cycle News Ride Day took place at Southern California's Cahuilla Creek MX Parl<. In addition to many of our advertisers and representatives from the numerous motorcycle manufacturers that we deal with on a regular basis, various ViPs were also on hand. Most notable among them were former Supercross and National Motocross Champion jeff Emlg, Ryan Hughes, factory Honda road racer jake Zemke, former AMA Motocross Champion Gary jones, Supercross Champion Mike Bell, 1990 12Scc East Supercross Champion Denny Stephenson, zillion-time Arenacross Champion Buddy Antunez, Arenacross front-runner Brad Hagseth, World Champion PWC racer Victor Sheldon, mini star Ryan Villopoto, dirt tracker johnny Murphree, Freestyle star Ronnie Renner, Desert Champion and KTM boss Scot Harden.
