Kawa5aki §upercro55 Kickoff The rumble of KX250F four-strokes and the roar of two-stroke KX250 motocross motorcycles echoed through Kawasaki's Irvine headquarters on Wednesday, January 5. Kawasaki Motocross Racing's factory racers and racers from Monster/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki Motocross Racing rode into the building's atrium to a well-wishing crowd of their biggest supporters - Kawasaki employees. The racers, introduced by E5PN commentator Jamie little, included Kawasaki's fourtime AMA Motocrossl5upercross Champion James Stewart and three-time Australian Motocross Champion Michael Byrne, who were also joined for the festivities by 125cc West 5upercross defending champion Ivan Tedesco, four-time AMA Four-Stroke National Champion Paul Carpenter, Kawasaki-supported rider Sean Hamblin, and 2003 AMA I 25cc Motocross Champion and newest Kawasaki team member Grant Langston. Each of the racers was given an opportunity to address the Kawasaki employee group and each autographed a jersey for a fortunate, drawn-at-random member of the audience. According to Bruce Stjemstrom, director of professional racing, "this degree of involvement from all aspects of the company is what helps drive the continuing success of our racing program.
