Sunday. The Freelin MX crew did a great job with track."
Hicks also topped the guys in the 250cc B class, winning
both motos. Hicks led both 250cc B motos around the first
bend on his way to runaway victories, while James Veniza and
Joe Hill traded positions in both motos. Veniza (3-2) got the nod
for the runner-up spot by topping HiiI (2-3) in moto two. Nick
Hiltz was fourth in both motos and fourth overall aboard his
Magic Motorsports/Mom & Dad-backed YZ. Ronald Clapp (5-5)
rounded out the top fIVe, laying down steady rides.
In the Over 45 class, Jeff Bost took two wins to lock up the
overall and quite possibly the Michigan Over 45-class
championship as well. Scott Currie was the runner-up in both
motos but wasn't able to match the run turned in by Bost. Kirk
Bigelow, still on the mend after a shoulder injury, placed third in
both motos for third overall.
