Jason Carrenter claimed the 2004 Gas Gas USA Centra Reg ional Trials Chamrionship title wi th a pair of wins ot the fino event in Dougloss, Kansas. spun on the roots for a three. Lap three was a carbon copy of the second lap, with Jason again going clean on the hillclimbwhile Wie land faltered . At the finish, Wieland came home with 10 points total , while Jason sneaked in with one point better for the win. Kenlon late r choked down the fee ling of being a bridesmaid as Joe Schryver bested his efforts in both the motos of the 125« ( 16-25) class. It tur ned ou t that the age grou ps (w ho ran toget her) provided the best race s of the day. Kenlon hounded Schryve r t hro ugh bot h mo to s, bu t Schryve r hugged t he insid e line . keepi ng Kenlon at bay. Back in the 12-15 age grou p, the top po sitions go t bounced around like a hot potato . In th e first eve nt, Austin Lambert kept Fuller behind him, with Jack Musick third . When th e gate dropped on moto two , Musick jumped out front . Fuller was cons iste nt , trailing Musick, so Lambert had to trail in third. The three were close throughout the event , and seve ral attem pts were made for repositioning, but at the checkered flag, the order re mained the same .
