he arrived to run Ducati North America

Lock had bee n running Ducati in his native England
whe n he got the call to move back to Ame rica. He 'd
been here before. When Triumph's John Bloor asked him
to revive the British name in the United States, Lock
relocated to Amer ica for three years before the callcame
to return home . Now came another move, this one bigger and with mo re at stake. Instead of starting new, as he
had with Triumph, he inherited a dysfunctional company
that had done all it co uld to sabotage its own ambitions.
