Happ en i n g s in Motor cy cling Watch Out for These Ducati Corse and Breil Watches are pleased to announce the launch of three new models in their range of high-performance watches. Following the success of the first collection, Ducati and Breil are now proud to present the new Master Ducat i autumn 2004 range with its traditional racing characteristics, style and design. This new ser ies confirms the success of the partnership between the two compan ies, both symbols of "made in Italy ." The Master Ducati watch maintains the same features as the original model, its chunky look a harmonious comb ination of round and square shapes and refined detailing, from the bevelled corners of the case to the shaped buttons and the knurled "honeycomb" crown. New features are the use of high-tech materials such as titanium and carbon fiber, and the black steel treatment, elements that highlightthe sporting and rugged nature of the watch. This ded icated edition cons ists of three models : Chrono Titanium Capirex , Chrono Black Steel and Chrono Steel with strap. The Chrono Titanium Capirex is a numbered limited-edition wat ch, dedicated to Loris Capirossi and em bellished with the "Capirex" logo and the rider's autograph on one side of the case. The use of titanium gives the watch lig htness, resistance and a pleasant, original burnished hue. It retails for 4S0 Euro (around $SB5). The Chrono Black Steel has a vacuum stee l coat ing technique called PVD (physical vapour deposition), which gives the watch its special black color. It retails for 3S0 Euro (around $45S). The Chrono Steel has a polyurethane strap and is embellished with the Ducati Corse red shield. It reta ils for 300 Euro (around $390 ). The new Master Ducat i range is aimed at young, sports-loving adults and fans of motorcycles and motorcycle racing. FMF Education FMFis once again teaming up with a national recreation grou p to help educate off-highway vehicle (O HV) ent husiasts abo ut the need to ride with quiet mufflers on our forest and desert tr ails. FMF Racing's $5000 grant will allow the BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) to help the Forest Service, Bureau of Land Manageme nt and many clubs get riders in comp liance with the 96dBA limit in California. In 200 I, FMF Racing produced the afte rmarket's first focused performance exhaust targeted to mee t new sound restrictions. The Q series of two-an d four-stroke off-road silencers were designed to com bine strong performance w hile minimizing noise out put. The Q systems were developed in anticipation of the 96dBA sound limit that becam e law in California in January 2003.
