Jo hn Stunkard led th e Divi sio n Two main event fo r two laps, but Hideaki Ota took over the lead on t he back straight on the third lap. Ota took the w hite flag, but Michael Hernandez fell in turn four and brought o ut the red flag. Ota was declared t he w inne r, St unkard was credited with second, Rudy Laurer was t hird, and He rnandez was fourth . Gr eg Vande mo r e dominated th e Division off with the lead . After riding an 85 on ly a w ee k ago , local Mini star Shawn Habe rlock made the mo ve up to the 250cc class with ease; he hung wit h the leaders the en tire race , though he was never was able to get a ro u nd o ne of the natio n's top Inte r me d iate s, Metz ler. Cerruti took the Pro-class win , while Alessi rejoine d the race five laps later to take sec o nd (o ut of two racers). Metzler was the to p Inte rmed iate , with Haberlock and josh jo hnso n in to w. Th e sec o nd mote was all Alessi 's, as t he Alp ine stars-backed rider s mo ke d t he com petition after getting a better start. Alessi took a big win , followed by Cerruti and Metz ler. Alessi (2-1 ) took th e ove ra ll Pro w in, w hile Ce rrut i ( 1-2) finished second . Garza had a healt hy lead unt il th e last lap, w hen Mason Wharton , who w as ab ou t six seco nds be hind in th ird , blasted by Aguirre for second and caught up to Garza , batt ling fo r the lead. Garza, Wharton and Aguirr e went over the infamo us "Bump" jump o n the inside line , but Wharton decided to try to jump it • unheard of fo r a mini when taking the inside line - and he e nded up flipping head over heel s. Garza too k the win, Aguirre was seco nd , and N ick Man cuso wa s thi rd . W hart o n was slow to re mo unt and ended up seve nth.
