Without question , the SOcc (7-8) contest belonged to Polini pilot David Nizzari. Cale b Sullivanedged out Brad y Moreland for second overall , though both had their KTMs' th rott les pinned . Th e 50ce Open class also featu re d a great battle. KTM rider Alec Riggins used th e last-mote win to score th e overall victory. Nizzari suffere d a last -tur n low sid e w hile lea d ing. bu t he recove red to secure second overall . Po lini pilot Ty Tanner had a strong first moto and took th e last podium spot . In th e 6Scc (10- 1I) class, KTM r ider Cody Ham mon d's lastmota victory secure d the overall wi n. Fast Kaw asak i jockey Maso n McC un e too k t he se cond po di u m s t e p . Rob bie Matthews was steady as well as fast to score th ird ove rall. Th e 8Scc (7- 1I) class showed tha t co nsiste ncy pays. Yamaha rider And rew Re ed was first ove rall. T he Youth class was the pro perty o f Y aha hon cho Gage am Hartman, w ho ra n awa y with both mo tos . Ho nda ma n Cod y Lee and Yamaha rider Brett Barrow ob tained th e o ther pod ium spots. Hart man just rec e ntly mo ved up to th e big bikes fro m the ass and seems to have a handle on the bigger mach ine s. Hart man had to be merry by the end of the even ing, as the 12Scc C class also belon ged to him, w ith double moto win s. C hr istian Van asch, o n ano t he r Yamaha, was seco nd ove ra ll. Honda-mounted Bo bby Dow ns was a solid th ird overall. Th e 12Scc B class is another great sou rce for some great racing. KTM-m ounted Matt Wasson was the one to beat, and th is wee k, no one di d. Ch ris C ast le , o n his Fr e e wh e el ing Ho nda , took th e second-overall hon o rs . Bobby Scog in, o n a bor ro w ed C RF250, took the final pod ium spo t. The saying "Pay th e mon ey and they w ill co me" seems to be tr ue , as the Pro classes are gett ing bigger, and the crowd loves it. The 250cc A class was grea t o n th is night. Suzuki-mounted Michael Sizemo re was the man . Chris McCorkel, o n his RHS Honda , wo n t he first mo ta , b ut Size more's last -m ota w in garnered the overall. McCo rkel has been an A rider for a cou ple of weeks, and he seems to be up to th e task. Mar k Taylor was third overall with a good ride .
