250cc Ernesto Fonseca
5th (6-4)
Factory Honda rider Ernesto Fonseca had a good, consistent two
days of racing. On the first night, he kept the leaders in sight for a
few laps but got passed by laRocco and Wey. On the second
evening of competition, Fonseca managed to put together an excellent ride to come away with fourth. In the overall standings, the
Honda rider ended up fifth.
125cc Brett Metcalfe
5th (4-8)
As the only I25cc two -stroke rider out on the track,
Brett Metcalfe was definitely in the minority. However,
the newest Y
amaha of Troy team member didn't have
any problems getting his yz 125 to fly around the short
course. On the first night, he hung right in there with
the leaders , but he just could n't quite catch the top
three. During the second evening of racing, Metcalfe's
luck wasn't as good as on the first night, and all he could
muster was an eight-place finish, which was just good enough for fifth overall.
125cc Davi Millsaps
10th (9-12)
Team Suzuki's young prospect did not have one of his best weekends. Millsapswas hauling
in practice and during the races, but bad luck hampered his results . On the first night, Millsaps could only manage a ninth-place finish after mistakes caused him to fall behind. Then,
on the second night, Millsaps didn't even line up for the main event after pulling his groin in
a fall in a heat race earlier that same night.
250cc Heath Voss
4th (4-5)
The re igningWorld Supercross Champion, Heath Voss, put together two respectable rides
and was able to walk away with fourth overall. On Friday night, Voss ran as high as third at
the start but fell back to fourth at the end of the race after Mike laRocco was able to move
around him. On Saturday night, Voss rode consistently ; he was in second for a few laps
unt il Reed worked his way around him. At the finish. Voss came home fifth.

Schnell took ho me the first-place mon ey,
w hile Adams ' score of 3-2 beat Hahn's
score o f 2-3 for second overall.
