people who know what they are doing. Iam surprised at
how I do minated the ser ies this year. My goal was to win
at least nine outdoo r events, and I surpassed that, obviously. I thought, in my mind, that I could win the title,
but I didn't think that I could do it in the fashion I did.
There was a lot of speculation as to why you
waited until so long to have your surgery. You
postponed things almost a month to race the
Motocross des Nations, in which you won both
motos overall. Some suggested that you were
afraid to race against Chad Reed. who had beating
you during the last six races of the 2003 season in
supercross. Others said it was because you didn't
think the CR25 0R was competitive. Set the record
straight for us .
