" I think Chris helped me a little, but
th at's the w ay yo u had to pass though,"
Coolbeth sa id. " I d idn't think it was a d irty
pass , but it w as a real aggres sive pass . He
d id what he had to do ."
Coolbeth had no tro uble runni ng Carr
and Kopp bac k down.
"The sun w as killing me, Coolbeth
said. "I missed the groove then gathered
it back up and caught them, My lap times
were way faster than whoever was leading. I think if we had got out front early, I
t hink we could have had it. There was no
pass ing really, and if you did you kind of
had to push your way. I was off the
groove a couple times. I had to almost
stop and turn bac k onto it. All in all, it was
a go od rac e."
