This event is a gre at way to get o ut in the mountains of Colorado , ride a longer-t han- normal loo p and see some grea t scen e ry. The sec tions are obvio usly not as hard as a Nat ional, which makes it difficult for th e top riders because the sections are all cleanable . so it just boils down to a me ntal game and concentration. but it is a prestigious and fun event to ride." "I saw Geoff take a point on the second lap and I was ve ry pumped. because it put me in the lead," said Chaves about his ride on Sunday. "But, it is very difficult to go clean the whol e day, and I had a little mistake when my rear wheel was spinning and I had to take a po int.
