O n the wh ite-flag lap, Dunning close d the gap o n Ca rlin and began cha llenging fo r the lea d. Dunn ing's back tire washed o ut, allowi ng Ca rlin to extend his lead and cla im first place in mo to on e , w hile Dunning w as re legated to last, just that fast! Sigismond i too k second. Nye.
