Stock class but was passed by Chad Ward
early on . A three-way battle ensued, with
Keeney in third : then he moved into sec ond and. by the halfway point , he had
control of the lead.
The second mota started the same as
the first. between Gonzalez and Ward,
with Keeney back in eighth. By lap four,
Keeney was in third , pass ing Michael
Chiud ioni and, after a bar-to -bar battle on
the final lap, passing Ward for good for
the lead and win .
Keeney had the best gate pick in the
2S0cc Modified Pro class after a firstmota win. but a poor start in mota two
Sunday morning saw him back in 13th.
While Keeney suffered some bad luck,
Kyle Partridge, on the other hand, was on
fire. However, a hard get-off two laps
short of the checkered flag sent the young
Suzuki rider to the hospital with a possible broken wrist. As it turned out, his
wrist was just sprained and bruised .
Meanwhile , Eric McCrummen was in the
right spot to take the point and lead the
final laps, using a 3-1 score for the title.
Jared Partridge carried on the family tradition with his winning performance in the
12Scc Novice Stock and Modified classes.
Partridge was untouchable in all four motes,
claiming his first National titles.
In the Intermediate ranks , the competition was strong, with Chris Nihan leading the charge with a win in the 12Scc and
2S0cc Stock Intermediate classes. taking
two wins for Ho nda. Dev in Sullivan
topped the 12Scc Modified Inte rmediate
class, garnering another win for Honda.
Jason Lawrence snapped the win away
from Miles Warren with a 2-1 punch,
leaving Warren in the runner-up spot and
Nihan in third .
