It's a nice facility, and the fans are really into the racing. I hope we get to come back." The Farley event marked J.R. Sc hna be l's se cond 750 cc top-five finish this year. "I just have to get it in the main event," Schn- abel said. "Once we get it there, we're all right. Not much to say about my starts tonight. I don't know what else Babe [DeMay) can do for me. He's put hydraulic clutches on here for me. It works so good, but I still can't get off the start ing line. I put myself in a hole there . No one is to blame but me. Ou r bike was perfect . We had a top -three bike tonight, and I didn't do the job tonight. On to Rapid City." Ja red Mees found it hard to pass during the main event. "It was lucky that no one got off," he said. "We're gett ingthere. We're defini tely getting there. Every week we keep improving. I've never seen Johnny Goad so fired up. He said that was the best race he eve r saw me race. He said I kept my head dow n and was aggressive. Those comments were pretty good for me. I really can't complain. Now we have a long haul to Sturgisand do the same thing. I really want to thank everyone who has been helping me, Lancaster H-D, Saddlemen and Johnny Goad especially. He's put a lot of magic into th is machine . We' re just going to have to take the good with the bad." "For the most part, I just want to look forward, go to Rapid City and hope things are wo rking better the re," Jo hnny Murphree said after t he race . "I'm sure Rapid City will be about the same kind of track . It will be a real racy kind of track. We'll spend the next couple days trying to figu re out what to do different."
