The trac k was quite we t for the first 250cc
A race . Dehn pulled the holeshot , but Povolny
quickly storm ed by, leading ali the rest of the
way. Dehn kept him in sight, with Ohla nd not
far behind him. Scott Ehle nfeldt wor ked his way
up to fourth.
In the secon d moto, Ohland got t he
holeshot, with Povolny and Dehn close behind .
Povolny passed Ohl a nd at t he e nd of the
second lap and pulled away. Dehn began reeling
in O hland , passing him on the last lap for
second in the moto and ove rall. Ehlenfeldt was
again fourth.
Several o ther r id ers won two classe s:
Dalto n Carlson topped the 6Scc (10- 1I) and
8Scc (7- 11) class es , Jess e Kangas won 8Scc
( 12- IS) and Sup ermini classes, Bruce De hn
too k the School bo y a nd 12Scc B w ins, Jeff
Sandback won the Over 30 B and Over 40 B
classes, and Mike "Fossil" Qu inn won the Over
45 BIC class and the lonely Over SOclass.
