Davidson-backed Rotax jumped out from
under him in turn one.
The "revert one lap" ru le once again
favored Coolbeth, as he was awarded
third. over the displeased Hacker.
"I just know I had Kenny for a couple
of laps ," Hacker said . " I don't understand
how they rule on some of these things."
Coolbeth sa id that calling the race was
a bum deal.
"T he race wasn't fair," he sa id. "Mike is
kind of bummed out. He thought he had
th ird . I think he definitely would have beat
me. That's why I'm kind of bummed out.
Hey, that's racing."
Pearson matched his season best with
a solid fifth-place finish after shadowing
the Coolbeth/Hacker battle. A short distance behind Pearson. there was a great
race going on between Quality Checked

Honda's Jake Johnson. and Sadd lemen/
Lancaster Harley-Davidson's Jared Mees.
Coziahr Harley-Davidson/National
Cycle's Johnny Murphree and Aqua
Flo-backed Jethro Halbert rounded out
the top 10.
