AMA Chevrolet 12Scc Championship Motocross Series The Bat:t:le: Millsaps vs. Walker vs. Brown Providing the kindling for Bubba's fire on Sunday was the freshman Davi Millsaps, the fie ry Matt Walker and the forme r 12Scc Champion Mike Brown. The th ree, at one point or another, supplied some exce llent visuals to the rivalry among Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha, as they battled from one end of the Unadillacourse to the other. Here's wha t the three had to say abou t their ow n and their rivals' day at the races. saps and Walker we re riding good. his corner speed and his speed in the flats, but he raced really wel l and impressed me today. "There wa s two crashes in the first moto, actually," Bro wn said of his firstmoto falls. "I wen t down in the first one , got up and got going pretty quick and passed a bunch of people laying on the ground in the second pileup. I was thinking to myself, 'Man, this is a lot of people I'm not going to have to pass.' I knew that I was going to have to get back up and race for eve ry point I could get . I was going for sixth "It's been a long time coming for me and my tea m," Walker said of getting on the Matt Walker: "Millsaps was riding rea lly good today. His rut speed is not as great as podium. "We 've had a lot of bad luck, and I should be ashamed that I haven't had better results this summer. This bike that Pro Circuit puts together for me is by far the best bike ou t there , but I haven't had the results to back that until today." Davi Millsaps: "In the first moto we [he and Walker) were right there together, then he ended up pullingme a bit because I was making some mistakes . I just calmed down . Pret ty soon he [Walker) we nt dow n. I just passed him, and rode my own race . Second moto he got the holeshot against me , then I caught up to him, and we had a good battle for like four laps. I got by him in a corner and stayed there until my bike blew up.
