ZEMKE TURNS SUPERIOR HORSEPOWER INTO A SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE. The Erion Racing Rider Grabs His First AMA Superbike Win On The Honda CBR1 OOORR. It wasa tough battle, but in the end, Jake Zemke took advantage of his bike's superior horsepower to grab his first Superbike victory And who was the rider who gave him such a hard time . lapafterlap? It was noneother than Zemke's teammate, Miguel Duhamel, who finished second on his own CBR1000RR. The victory made it three-in-a-rowfor the Honda motorcycle and five winsoverall. The day before, in Formula Xtreme, the nameswere the same, but the positions were swapped. Miguel Duhamel rode his CBR600RR to victory, and Zemke took the second spot.
