randon Wroten flew like the wind to maintain his lead in the Arkansas-l-ltssc uri Summer National Series in not one but three classes , scooping up wins in the 85cc Junio r, 65cc
(9- 1I) and 65cc Open classes at Thayer Motor·
sports Farm,
The day was muggy and cloudy, but no rain
was forecast for the third round of the series .
The track cond itions were nearly perfect as
Thayer Motorsport Fann opened its gates at 7
a.m . for t he first race rs to enter. KTM rider
Wroten of Dyess, Arkansas, suited up for his
ch anc e at mai ntaining his hefty lead in the
se ries . He had placed first in the ftrst and
second ro unds and was look ing to keep that
lead at this round . His competition was waiting
(or him at the gate , ready to try to take the
spotlight away from him,
In both t he 85cc Junio r and 65cc Open
classes, Joe Looney was there at every tum , but
Wroten had set his Sights on the chec kered flag

and was determined to leave his competition in
the dust,
In the 65cc (9-11) class, Wroten was given a
run for his money by Cody Dauksch, who sits
lust two poi nts be h ind him in t he series .
Dauksch rode like the wind to catc h Wroten
and take the brass ring. It was not to be ,
however, as Wrote n had again set his sights on
the gold, and he took first place in all six rnotos
to maintain his status as the series leader.
