Eric Bostrom has been introduced many times before. but never like this.

York City fashion
show that showcased Ducati fashions. The motorcycle-inspired
clothing and accessor ies were
designed by graduating seniors at the
Parsons School of
Design and were
the centerpiece of
the graduating
class' fashion show.

The East Coast swing began early on Saturday. when Bostrom was picked up
at New York's jFK Airport in a Prevost motor home. From New York he was
driven to a Ducati open house at Koup's Cycle Shop in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania,
where over 1000 Ducati fans greeted the Ducati factory rider. From Harrisburg
he went north for another open house at North American Warhorse in Scranton , Pennsylvania. before returning to New York City.
Monday started with a quick tour of Times Square and a trip on the
New York subway system en route to the fashion show on the west side of
Manhattan.
The show featured works by a number of graduating seniors, with several
members of the class collaborating on the Ducati styles. The collection was on
display at the Misano circuit during World Ducati Week. May 17-23.
Following the show. Eric was interviewed by RAI . an Italian television network, and posed for photos in some of the student-designed outfits.
Monday evening he was back at Chelsea Piers for the Parson Benefit and
Fashion Show honoring designer Marc jacobs. a Parsons alumnus and the artistic
director of LouisVultton. jacobs was presented his award by Oscar-winning
writer Sofia Coppola.
Tuesday night Bostrom will again be the guest of honor. this time at the Ear
Inn. a popular gathering spot for Ducati and BMW riders in the Soho district of
lower Manhattan.
The trip to New York was sandwiched between testing at Pikes Peak International Raceway and the sixth and seventh rounds of the AMAChevrolet Superbike Champ ionship Series at Barber Motorsports Park this coming weekend,
May 14-16.
40th Anniversary
