Hatch Gets His Way in Missouri S teve Hatch captured the overall win at the seventh round of the AMNFMF National Enduro Series in Park Hills, Missouri, on May 23. The Throttlehead.com/ Kawasaki Team Green KX250 rider battled closely with Am Pro Yamaharider Randy Hawkins all day, and when things were all said and done, Hatch nipped Hawkins by just one point - Hatch d ro pping five points on the day and Hawkins Steve Crevier passed Pascal Picotte just two turns from the finish to win the opening round of the Part s Canada Superbike Championship at Shannonville Motorsport Park on May 23. Riding the DXS Diablo RacingTeam Suzuki GSX-RI000 , the six-time Canadian National Champion dove down the inside of Picotte entering Allen's Corner to snatch t he lead, then hung on to claim his record-extending 22nd career Canad ian Superbike win. Clint McBain also took advantage of the six points. Finishing third overall was series points leader David Lykke on the facto ry-backed KTM. Lykke dropped 10 points on the day. Yamaha- mounted Steve Leivan finished fou rt h overall, while KTM rider Rich Lafferty ro unded out the top five.
