exciting race . Girard tried to mount an attack,

lor second. and finally Aquino lo r the lead by

pace . Aquino. Saavedra and Girard were left to
d ice for th e remaining pos itio ns. At the line,
Joh nson too k the inside draw fo r his first ace,
lea ving Saavedra to grab se cond, w ith Girard
fight ing back to take t hird and Aquino slipping
