Davis, sponsored by Gary Bailey's MX School and Mom, earned the overall with a hard -wo n 3- 1 score, besting the elde r Shipley (2-2) and Martin (1-3). In th e O ver 35 class, Kevin Austin got th e mota-one holeshot, but Shipley quickly took the lead over the backside step-up. jim Ley and Alford worked past Austinto start the second lap. At the line, Ley edged out Alford ove r th e finish-line step-up, followed by Austin and jay Hauser. In mot o tw o, Shipley snared th e holes hot. Alford and Ley batt led for position unt il Alford we nt down in the whoops just aft er the sta rt , rem ounting in last place . By the start of lap tw o. Shipley had checked out, w it h Ley in pursu it. Alfor d regained sixth ove r the backside ste p-up. and t he n his cha rge t oo k him past Th o mas Jennings in the Euro sect ion for fifth; then past Hauser ove r th e Eve l Knieve l Sky Ju mp fo r fourth; and finally past Aust in for th ird do w n behind the dam. Behind t he dam , Gle nn passed La ut e n fo r first . Bryant moved into third in the Euro sect ion to start lap two. Bryant took seco nd ove r th e Big Dipper. Troxe ll, who finished seco nd in mota one , didn't finish moto two. Shumate got fifth in t he first moto but crashed out in the secon d, event ually placing 14th . The Superm ini class was the final race of the day. Again, Robert showed how fast he is on his Hon d a, tak ing t he lea d afte r tu rn o ne , with Wor th and Anthony De Fazio hot on his ta il. Robe rt won both motos to take the ove rall win, t hus going home with th ree first-place trophies and contingency awards fro m Amsoil. In th e 12Scc No vice class , Du stin Ward finished first overa ll with beck-to- beck wins on his Hond a CRF2S0R. Ward charged hard from the start . leading his class for the entire moto. Having recently moved up fro m the as cc class, Ward showe d he cou ld handle the big bike with no problems. In the I25cc Inte rmediate class, local rider Rhett Urse th, o n a Kawasaki KX2S0F, battle d with Honda CRF2S0R rider jeff Cain for a lap before pulling away to take the lead and leaving the re st of th e pack to fend fo r themselves. Urseth was flying high over the BO-foot tables and th ro ugh the whoo ps section, checking out for the w in. In 6Scc (4-B) action, De Fazio, on the Suzuki RM6S , led KTM pilot Tristan Hunte r e n ro ute to first place in bot h mer es. The BScc (7- 11) ove rall w in went to KTM rider Trey Adamson, followed by Suzuki jockey De Fazio . jordan Hunter, on his Suzuki RMBS, won the first BScc Beginner race, followed by Austin Marie, also on a Suzuki RM8S.
