"T he last lap, I was think ing about what happened ove r the last few weeks, and I was not going to let that happe n today. T his track was treacherous because of all the roc ks. I just tried to keep a steady pace , and I figured if anyo ne wa nted to push hard and try to catch me, it would have bee n really dangerous for them because of all the rocks ." The course did lead to mistakes for the re st of the pack. FMF Suzuki's Smith saw his three -race win streak snapped , as def ending GNCC Champion Barry Haw k got aro und him on the last lap to take sec o nd . All of ESPN 2's coverage of the se ries w ill be shown within one week of the race , on desirable weeke nd time slots w ith at least one reair of eac h telecast, according to the AMA O ne -hour shows will be devoted to 125 and 2S0cc class act ion, w hich are set to be aired back to back fo r added con tinuity.
