Gracyk was not as lucky in the big-bore contest and settled for 16th place on a 17-8-2B score. The Honda-mounted Bess put in two fantastic rides to claim third in the 2S0F class and sixth In the 4S0F Pro class on a 3-4- 1B tally. Colorado's Matt Karlsen had a consistent day, scoring sixth overall in the 2SOC and fourth overal l in the 4SOS. Jason McConmick (9-6-6 ) finished fifth overal l in the 4S0s, wh ile Te xas hotshee Adam Mennenga took sixth with an incredi ble 24-S-2 score . Danny Kelsey also put in a great ride , taking fifth in the 250F class, with his fellow local rider Brandon Beabout settled for 10th. Stewart was blazing along out in, front until an off-track e xcursion dropped him a sco rching pace, Kavanagh and Drie r we re battling bar to bar, and Stewart was coming on fa st . Su ddenly, Dr ier was attacked b y e quipment greml ins and d ropped o ut . Eite l cruised in with an easy win, and Stewart made a last- lap pass to snatc h secon d fro m Kavanagh . Simmonds nailed the o pe ning holeshot, but Hall wh istled past almost immediately. Shai-Anthony Ginden was ho lding on to third tightly, while Dee larsen and Jeffrey l ewis battled back and fo rt h for fourth . Hall put it in high gear and took off for win number one. Simmonds stayed a solid secon d, but Ginden's fall let l ewis roost home in third. Simm onds shot o ut to his second straight holesh ot in moto two , determ ined to keep Hall behind him th is time . It worked , too - until the big canyon jump, when Hall launched a moon shot to take over the lea d . Tha t was it. as Hall rolled to win num be r two and the overall BScc (7- 1 1) Stock title .
