STEWART WAT[HES OVER LONDON James Stewart has long aligned his stratospheric career with a strong group of sponsoring partners that include some of the most reputable companies both in and out of the sport of motocross. Since his early days racing in the amateur ranks, Stewart has shown a talent on the racetrack that pointed toward success on the professional level. While he has experienced unprecedented success as a pro, it has been his ability to break outside of the sport of motocross' conventional boundaries that has set this popular IByear-old on the fast track to fame and success . In an example of his growing popularity, Stewart is currently featured on a billboard in downtown London. England, as part of Oakley's new campaign to promote its new line of Dartboard sunglass es. Oakley's fashion-minded campaign is based on its newest product, using Stewart 's image to bridge the gap to today's youth market. Similar Oakley ads are currently running in mainstream magazines, including a two-page spread in the May/June issue of King Magazine that features an accompanying four-page article on Stewart. The Stewart name is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable in the sport. He has nurtured long-standing relationships with Kawasaki, Fox Racing and Oakley for a combined 30-plus years. He started racing for Kawasaki in 1993 and has won 14 titles aboard its bikes , including a record I I amateur titles and three professional championships. He joined Fox Racing a year later and is celebrating his 10th season of wearing its product. And in 1995, Stewart began his association with Oakley and its goggles and eyewear. and the two have formed an inseparable relationship ever since.
