the crow d and race rs at round three of Bremen Race Park action. Eve n with two other big
races in the area th is weekend, mor e than 175
signups took place for t he ever-popular Saturday night series .
The SOcc Shaft racers had t he throttl es
pinned, and Logan Rainwate r won both motos
of the Yamaha-do minated class . j ust in Priest
was a solid seco nd ove rall. Austin Godfrey kept
the hammer down for the final podium spot.
The SOcc Op e n class was going to be an allKrM pod ium, but no one could tell which KrM
wo uld be in which spot until the last moto . Alec
Riggins too k the ov erall by w inning t he last

T he 60 -BOcc Prete en class belonge d to
Taylo r Smit h, on his RHS Racing/ LSD-tu ned
Honda. KrM 's Timothy Th orn ke pt Smith on
the gas with a solid seco nd for the even ing. A
good-ru nning Kawasaki kept Kyle Neary on the
last podium step.
In the BOcc (7- 11) division , Suzuki r ide r
Cory Dowda won moto two over fast Yamaha
rider Ch ris Coryell. Neary again eamed th ird
ove rall.
The 12Scc A and B classes shared a gate ,
and the race was a goo d o ne , fea tu ring the
re t ur n of Chris McCor kel t o th e B class .
McCorkel has bee n out almost a year due to a
seve re shoulder injury. O n this night, McCorkel
was enjoying his new Honda four -st roke. In
fact, McCorkel's onty competition was A-class
rider Michael Sisemo re , o n a Suzu ki. Ch r is
Ho llingswort h too k the overall on his Yamaha
whe n Sisemore's bike quit just before the finish.
Ryan No land, on his H&H KrM, took the last
podium spot . Allen White's Yamaha also wound
up on the B-c1ass pod ium. It was obvious the
crowd was glad to see McCo rke l getting back
up to speed.
The 12Scc and 2S0cc C classes ke pt th e
crowd on its feet. Bobby Scogin too k both wins
on his Free wheeling mac hines . Scogin's th ird
ride o n his new fou r-stroke Honda kept fourstroke Suzuki joc key jere my likens in second
plac e . Hon da rider Ch ris C astl e was t hird
overall. In the 2S0cc C division, APAC Racing's
Honda-mounted Robe rt McGrew kept Scogin
honest with a strong second-overa ll showing. A
better secon d mota kept Brandon Anderson on
t he po dium in t hird , mak ing it an all-Ho nda
swe ep.

maha rider David jackson was steady

ride .
The Moto-Madness Series is off to a grea t
start. The complete overhau l on the sister track
in Calhoun is almost finis hed . Make sure your
