The 150cc class has pretty much been the
Ga ry Trachy show. However, afte r fight ing
through the heat race to garner a front-row
start, Fairfleld Cycle's Casey Varrow put It to
good USe and launched into the lead . Hahm
Mot orsports' Trachy ran second, Justin Ross
(who's loo king for sponsors) was third, and
Currie was fourt h. O n lap three , Yarrow
turned a one-minute-and -17.20-second lap as
he inched away fro m Trachy. Curtis Cooksey of
Las Vegas was on the move , closing on Cunie
and Ross fast. At halfway, Varrow had a fivesecond lead over Trachy. On lap seven of 10,
Cooksey, who had already displaced Currie,
slipped by Ross. But Ross had an answer, as he
dug deep and latched back on to Coo ksey. On
lap e ight, Ross pressured Cooksey into making
a mistake in the dirt section and regained third .
At the finish, Yarrow upset Trachy, and Ross
hung tough for third , over Cooksey and Cu rrie .
Trachy's chance at redemption came in the
12.lap O pen Expert main. Trachy had won the
heat, but it was Factory Vertemati/Michelin
pilot Leonardo Bagnis who shot into the lead.

the 153 entrants on hand were eager to go
racing.
The 2S0cc class featured sonne of the day 's
best racing. Team Green Kawasaki's Brandon
Currie won round three's main event and won
this day 's heat race, giving him pole starting
position for the main . Del Arno 's Cameron
Welsh, on a Kawasaki 12S, led into turn one,
followed by Parts Unlimited's Pablo Veglia and
Currie. The first trip down the back straight
saw Veglia put his Yamaha up fro nt . with
Welsh, Currie and Dave Langford giving chase .
After I I {2 laps, Currie was up to second and
wo rking on FMF's Veglia. For eight laps of this
IO-lap final, Currie showed Veglia a wheel
repeatedly but just couldn't find a way past.
Veglia , the self-appointed president of t he
Kawasaki for Lunch Bunch , turned the fourthfastest overall lap time at I minute and 18.32
seconds en route to his hard -fought victory.
Currie was a close second , with Welsh third
and Pedro Guimaraes fourth .
on the line and ended up half a lap down .
By lap three, th ings were heating up. Keeto n
and Adam were hold ing down the top spots,
and Fluker had passed Culpepper and Lambert
for t hird . Further back, Coo k was stead ily
closing in on Lambert.
On lap five, Adam was holding on to second,
w ith Fluke r and Lambert on his heels. Cook
was closing fast and seemed to make up time in
the comer after the triple. By the time they got
to the whoops, Cook had moved into th ird. On
the next lap, he put a block-pass on Adam in his
favorite comer and took over secon d , putting
Adam th ird, followed by Fluke r and Lambert.
When the leade rs got back to th e whoops ,
Cook blew by Keeto n for the lead.
Near the end, Keeton deve loped arm pump
and couldn 't ho ld on to his bike; he launched
over the small doub le before the checkers and
looped out, land ing by the nagge r. Before he
co uld get to his bike , Adam took the nag for
second.
Coo k took the holeshot in mota t wo.
Kee ton was second, followed by Adam, Fluker
and Lambert. Keeton passed Cook on the back
st ra ight for the lea d . C ulpepper and Crane
were furt her back, e ngaged in thei r own battle.
Cook and Keeton began to pull away from the
pack. Adam wasn't do ing the triple and fell back
a little every lap.
On lap th ree , Cook put a block, pas s on
Keeton before the infie ld tabletop for the lead.
Fluke r had been closing on Adam but couldn't
make up any mo re time. Cook won , followed
by Keeton a nd Adam . Fluker, Lambert and
Culpepper ro unded out the top six.

Pabla Veglia won the 10-lap 2 SOcc main at round four of the
STTARS Super Moto Series.
T-boned and knocked down again while trying
to get up. T his held up the pack and gave
Bagnis an instant three-second gap. Not that he
needed it, as he checked out and turned the
fastest lap of the day, at one minute and 16.36
seconds. Lap four found Yarrow in second .
some 10 seconds back of Bagni s , with
Benavidez giving chase. By lap six, ExtremeLean's Scott Holden had pushed past Ross for
fourth . Holden and Ross swapped this position
back and forth , with Holden holdin' It when it
counted. Bagnis was victorious, with Yarrow
