Eli Hurst had a hard seco nd mota, but his first-mota win carried him to second overall. Honda rider Brian Elrod was steady fo r third. The Youth d ass was on the gas . and Hurst kept his Kawasaki turned on to win both motos . Honda rider Cody lee was solid for second overaJl.Jeffrey Petit was another red rider who made it to the podium w ith a solid perfonnance. The SOcc Open gate was fairly full. and it w as an all-KTM podium. Alec Riggins was the top ride r. with Jacob Seagrave. second. Brady Moreland won the first mota, but a fourth-place second -moto finish held him to third. In the 60-80cc Preteen divisio n, Yamaha rid e r Tyler Elkins came out on top of a battle with Honda rider Hayden O 'Kelley. These young men were on the gas! Suzuki jockey Jesse Madden held firm w ith steady riding for third overall. The 8Scc (7- 11) contest was also a good one . O 'Kelley was the one to beat. Hard-charging Nic Kimsey too k second overall, ahead of fellow Y ama ha rider Tyler Elkins. T he 8Scc ( 12- I S) class was ow ne d by Suzuki-mounted Michael Bonner. Another Suzuki pilot. Cory Do w d a. ke p t Bonne r on his toes with a steady ride. Yamaha rider Brett Barrow kept the podium from being an all-yellow affair. When the 250cc C gate dropped, it was obvious that Honda rider Bobby Scogin was the force to be reckoned With. Kawasak i jockey Dylan Rios to o k the Iast podium step. The four-stroke Kawasaki-mounted Taylor Edwards showed the Unlimited Amateurs the way, dominating the pack. Honda jockey Ricky Yelle held steady fo r second overal l. Kenny Hicks. another Kawasaki thumper pilot, overcame a bad start for third overall. The re was a blast from the past, as former Yamaha factory assist rider Rick Lindell made an appearance - or rather, a disappearance, as he ran away with the Over 30 and Ov er 3S victories . Brian Deaton placed second in the Ove r 30 class on his Kawasa ki. and Honda joc key Gen e Wilson took th ird. The Over 3S contest was another Lindell runaway, while Sta nley Do wd a put in a good ride for second overall. and RHS Ho nda ride r BillyAtkinson was th ird overall. The season is off to a great start, and everyone saw some good raC There were no major get-offs.
