"I'm just kind of bummed out ," Amsoil/Chaparral Honda 's Mills said.
"I was tied for fifth in points, and I had a chance to move into second , and I screwed it up. When I need to do good , I don't , and that 's
my problem right now. Tiger Lacey took me out pretty good, and it
was a pretty blatant takeout move , so he's got one coming. , don't

'" had a slow start in the final and moved up
well," Team Suzuki's Hepler said. "I felt strong,
and it was my best finish coming from the back
of the pack." He now holds a five-point lead for

The new Amsoil/Chaparral Honda rider was looking to bener his
performance from his first-ever supercross a week earlier. Unfortu nately, an early crash ended his hopes . "T ige r Lacey just cleaned me
and a few other guys out , and' was way back," Brayton commented
of the crash with his teammate Mills. "I felt like I rode good once I

to finish up front than what I have been
doing," Metcalfe said. " I just can't ride
w ith all the injuries . I had a bad start,
and I worked up . I also made some
changes, mainly w ith myself, and they
helped . The track was good . Not the
layout, bu t the technicality of it. You've
