remaining. but Tieamey then began shadowing
Lash. However, Lash had an answer for every
move Tiearney made , protecting his lines while
kee ping the rapid pace . lash hung o n to take
the mo ta win and the ove rall via his 2-1 score,
forcing Tie arn e y to tak e t he runner-up spot
wit h a 1-2 tally. Clint Mart in scored th ird overall
with a 3-3 sco re.
To co mplete the day, lash returned fo r the
second Over 30 Pro mot a to claim yet another
win. Steve Garnett followed for second overall,
and T im No bles took third .
T ie a r ne y a ppeared t o be in a cla ss by
himse lf, though, in the 12s cc Pro class. He rang
out his borrowed Suzuki to garne r both moto
wins by wide margins. Garnett re turned again
to take anothe r second-place finish, and Matt
Manha claimed third.
The day 's Intennediate contests we re some
of the fastest in recent memory. and Nick [arret
and J.L. Bitz proved the fastest of th e 12scc
division as t he y battled at the fro nt of each
mota. Bitz scored the first-mota w in afte r a
battle th at ended with [ar re t on t he grou nd
near the end of the race . Jarret remounted to
take fou rth on the mo ta .
Bitz found t he lead ea rly in mo ta two but
was passed by [arret, who seemed Intenton
redeeming himself. Bitt followed [arret home to
take the overall win w ith a 1-2 tally Jarret (4- 1)
