Kealamakia grabbed the holeshot and early lead in moto two , but Alessi quickly made the pass for the lead. Kealamakia again began a backward fade through the pack, as he couldn't shake Parker and Devin Sullivan. Sullivan eventually made his way around Parker and Kealamakiato take second, and Parker got by Kealamakia for third . This time, Sullivan and Parker followed Alessi home . The third moto actually came on Sunday, and with some rain throughout the night and a couple of track changes, the third-moto holeshot went to Sullivan, followed by Adam Chatfield and Parker. Alessi had a bad start. but before Sullivan could get comfortable in the lead, Alessi came screaming through the field to pass Chatfield, Parker and Sullivan and take over the lead. Alessi proceeded to put distance on his competitors, while Chatfield made his way around Sullivan in the whoops for second. Alessi, with the fastest laptimes of the weekend, took the win followed by Chatfield and Sullivan. Blake Baggett was the big winner in the 6Scc (10-1 I) and 8Scc (7-1 I) groups . Baggett took home four titles, losing only one title to local favorite levii Hall in the 6Scc (10-1 I) Modified class. Ryan Villopoto was also a big winner, with four titles in the 8Scc ( 14- 16) Stock and Modified, 8Scc Open and Supermini divisions. But the surp rise of the weekend went to Ryan's younger brother Tyler. Tyler Villopoto took home two titles in the 8Scc ( 12- 13) Stock and Modified divisions. Cobra-mounted Blake Green aced the SOcc (4-6) Stock and Modified classes. The older (7-8) division of SOcc riders saw some exciting racing between Colorado's Gavin Silver and Gunnar Biggerstaff as Silvertook home the win in , the Stock class, and Biggerstaff claimed the Modifiedwin. All class winners received a five-foot trophy, and over $SOOO in prizes was given out throughout the weekend. CN o nd a' s Mike Alessi dominated the firstever round of the American Amateur Racer MX Championship Series in Mesquite, Nevada, taking home a grand total of seven titles to California. The IS-year-old went undefeated in the three-moto format to win the 12Scc Intennediate Stock and Modified classes, 2S0cc Intermediate Stock and Modified classes, 12S and 2SOcc Open classes, and the Schoolboy division. Alessi grabbed the holeshot in the first 12Scc Modified Intermediate moto, followed by Brandon H Kealamakla and Michael Parker. Alessi immediately started to distance himself from the rest of the pack on his CRF2S0Rwhile Parker started to apply pressure to Kealamakia for second . Parker made his pass down the back straight and took over second. It wasn't long before Derreck Murphy and Beni Williams started pressuring Kealamakia as well, and Kealamakia couldn't hold off Murphy and Williams as they made their passes for third and fourth , respectively.
