No st radamus to predict that James Stewart
Is going to have a
career full of records.
And th is past weekend in Minneapolis, he
added anothe r win to his collection as he tied
his longtime idol Jeremy McGrath's 12Scc 13-win
total after taking another commanding win in Minneapo lis.
Stewart stili has five races left (plus the East/West
Shootout) with which to do mo re damage to that record, but
more importantly for him and his Kawasaki team, his achieving of
another 12Scc Supercross Championship loo ks mo re t han likely.
After being laid up in t he hospita l ill for most of the week, Stewart
was close to flawless in his Metrodome performance.
"I haven't ridde n since last Saturday, but Ifelt rea l good ," Stewart said
after showing no sign of weakness for 15 laps. "It's bee n a goo d season
so far, and I've got two in a row, and I'm pum ped ."
