Anoth er longtime rivalry is the one between
Glen Allen, Mississippi 's Jo n-Murry Barr and
Breaux Bridge's Ezra Angelle. Both riders had
to race throug h the pa ck in th e 60cc Open
class. Angelle, riding the Cajun Speed /KTM of
Texas bike, got there first, but Barr eventually
made the pass on his Greenville Motorsportsl
Team 4x4 Yamahato win.
The two put on another good race in the
first 6Scc (6-9) moto . Angelle stretched out an
early lead and distanced himself from the pack.
Barr spent almost the e ntire race trying to catch
up. Whe n he did catch the leade r at the railway
straightaway, Angelle squirted away. Barr finally
made the pass right be fore t he last straight,
winning the mota . Angelle finished second, in
front of a d istan t but impro ving Dyla n
