Earl y in the race, Bums closed in o n Fa lk and began to badg er the leader as the duo race d in close qu art ers. J ust befo re the m idw ay point, Bu ms bobbled and droppe d bac k to fifth pl ace. Wage ma n and Reyno lds were now arguing over th e secondpla ce positio n, while Falk enj oyed a co mfortable ma rgin ou t front. At the c heck ered flag , Fal k was the race winner, while Reyn olds held off Wage man for second pla ce . Bums recovered for fourth , and Kawasaki -mounted Max Groo m filled ou t th e top five . In the second go -around. Burn s grabbed the holeshot w ith his Kawasak i K X65 , while VET W agem an stuffed h i s Suzuk i RM65 up into seco nd pl ace, rig ht in front of Reynol ds . Fa lk gated fou rth , but by .th e end of the second lap he had already m oved into second place . O ut fro nt , Bums enjoyed the cle ar track in front of him, sta ying spee dy and m istake-free all th e way to the checke red fl ag for the w in . Falk was the run ner-up , while Reyn o lds took th ird . Wag ema n was fourth, and Groo m fifth . On th e day , Falk 's superb ) ·2 sho wing was good for the .overall class hon ors. Bum s stron g seco nd m ota nett ed him seco nd pl ace overall with a 4 ·1 ta lly , whil e Reyn olds gam ered thi rd place with a co nsistent 2- 3 performance. Th e 125cc A cla ss featured q uite a display of riding tale nt : RHS Racing 's Dash Lyle wa s th e first -p lace fini sher overall , but his Ho nd a was closely ma tched with that of th e second pla ced rider, Chad Ward , who pushed Lyle to the end but co uld not get by . Th e th ird -place awa rd wen t to Yam ah a rider William Bry an t from Sou th Car olin a. It was pro bably a goo d thi ng that both of th e le aders w er e o n red m achines, so th e paint -swappin g d idn't show . Th e 250cc A c lass allowe d t he Honda m oun ted Wa rd to score a top pod iu m spo t. T he fi rst moto looked li k e th e 125 cc A contest, but w ith the positions reversed. Lyle was on Ward but co uld not get by . In the second m ot o , Ly le pulled som ething in hi s back and ha d to slo w down . Hon da ride r Gary Kell um wa s sec ond overal l . and Ya ma ha - m o unt ed Lee Mu lli s score d t h ird o ver a ll af te r so me great racin g. The raci ng was the best, and everyone had a gre at time. The facility at Echeconnee is one o f th e best i n th e state , a nd t he eve nt ran smoothly , as it alwa ys does. Do nn y B ank s may not have won the Promoter of th e Year awa rd in Vegas th is weeke nd , but he' s nu m ber one in the ey es of the local riders! K a w a sa ki jockey C o ll i n Cab re was the next steady runn er , taking the thi rd pod ium spo t. The rac ing wa s hot and heavy in both m otos. Th e 60 -80cc D class was an othe r la rge class . Kawasak i-mo unted Justin Mo rr is won both m otos fo r the top po diu m spot. Suzuki p ilot Parker Wilso n t u r n e d a couple o f holes hots into seco nd overall.
