In the 125cc Novice class on Friday night, Cody Peterson took the holeshot and flew to the finish line to claim first pla ce. Larry St ep hen of Mario n , Sout h Car oli na, started the 250cc Beginner contest on Saturday nigh t in th e nu mb er -two slot but qu ickly took the lead and went on to win the race . Brandon Moore fought his way up from a fifthplace start to cross the line in second place. Ton y Nealy pla ced th ird. Doug Ea rls, on his 2004 Kaw asaki 250cc four-stroker, stomped most of the com petitors in Frid ay night's I25cc Pro contest.
