A quick -start ing Andrew Couto n abbed the holeshot in the opening moto, ahe ad of Lei b, Adas Bakchis , Kellstrom and Tyler Sjoberg. At the end of lap on e, Le ib was out front , with Kellstrom a cl o se second . Leib would end up leading every lap, with Kellstrom just a c oup le of seconds back, not quite bein g able t o m ak e a challenge for th e top spot. Third went to Bak chis afte r h e fe nd ed off t he repea te d advances of Sjoberg. Devi n Roth rounded out the to p five, ahea d of Co uto and Grady Dagnon. Kellstrom ra il ed h i s way arou nd th e outsid e of the firs t turn in m oto tw o to edg e out Leib for the hol eshot , with Sjoberg , Bak ch is and Roth runni ng in third through fifth , respect ively .
