Carpenter finall y pull ed a litt le gap near th e end, and then Sum m ey slid o ut in a left- hand sweeper. Burris m oved into second and held th e spot for the rest of the moto. . Summey nailed another start in moto two , but he rode better in the greasy conditions. Riddle gave chase hard and never really went away. but he didn 't have the stuff to match Summey.
