In the first Fou r -Stroke Pro moto, Summey nailed a b ig holes ho t a nd was chased by KTM rid er Ma tt Bu rris. Carpenter was soon int o second, and th e n h e battl ed past Su mmey o n a downhill ski j ump. Carpenter finall y pull ed a litt le gap near th e end, and then Sum m ey slid o ut in a left- hand sweeper. Burris m oved into second and held th e spot for the rest of the moto. . Summey nailed another start in moto two , but he rode better in the greasy conditions. Riddle gave chase hard and never really went away. but he didn 't have the stuff to match Summey.
