I was co ming off of a bit of a back LEAVE inj ury there - I wo uld've been prett y excite d. A s it turn ed out , I reall y would've liked to have b r o u g h t THE home some trophies, but I was real ly happy with the way it went - honestly - and I'd just k ind of li k e to im pro ve my finishes outdoors. and I GRI1TD BEHI1TD know I can do it . I j ust need to get my bike work ing , and we ha ve an excellent crew beh ind m e her e. Out of all of th e gu ys o ut there , especially this year, yo u seem the healthiest. You d idn 't seem t o suffer from the nagging i nj u ri es, much less inj urie s that were c apab le of sidelining y o u . To what d o y o u attri bute that? In '02 , I had surgery on m y k nee. Bu t in '03, I thi nk I do a lot of t ra inin g and stret ch ing an d th in gs lik e that, so if I do go down , h opefu ll y I' m n ot going t o fall t o piec es. But, hon estl y , I just wan t to move myself up into co nt entio n for a top-three eve ry weekend , an d with a te am like th is. th ere's no reas on I can't be.
