Mal colm McCassey Jr. was the ho st of th e event, and there was nev er a du ll m oment with Malcolm in the house. He was gre at with th e kids, and Alpinestars spared no expens e, as th e top th ree riders in each cl ass took home a bag fu ll of Alpin esta rs' products. Sjostrom slid o ut in a turn , and Mike got by . M ike then sailed to v ic to ry, with Jeff second and Sjostrom thi rd. Mike returned f or a t hree- m o t o sweep fo r th e c h a m pio n sh i p t itl e. Sjostrom m a y not have taken t he Sch oo lboy title, bu t he he ld a perfect sco re in the 125cc Novi ce d iv i sion , go ing 1-1 -1 -1 for the t it le, foll owed by T yson Ta lkington and Ad rian Feli c ia no.
