After qualify ing m otos in th e Open A class, N ew M e x ic o Pr o Isa ia h J o h nson t o o k t he hol eshot in th e m ain even t and never look ed back . B urr is n ev e r h ad a chance to get withi n real strik ing distanc e after th e fi r st co up le of l a ps, bec au se J o h nson picked up the pa ce to lengt hen his lead and easily win the O pen A race.
