Shut down by environmentalists and politicians after the final running of the race in 1993, the Blackwater 100 is still tod ay cons idered one of the greatest motorcycle and ATV races of all time. From 1990 to 1994, prod ucer Jeffrey Grubert traveled to Davis,West Virginia and captu red hours of footage fro m America 's Toughest Race."Blackwater Forever" is a more than 4 hour DVD highlighting 4 years the running of the Blackwater 100 and much of the behind the scenes action that made Blackwate r the Indianapolis 500 of off-road racing. O ff-road fans worldwide traveled to the Blackwate r 100 every year along with off-road riding champions like Scott Summers, Larry Roeseler, Jeff Russell and more--all looking for the ultimate off-road adventure. Video cameras on the bike, in the air, and on the tra il, bring the Blackwater 100 back to life. You 'll see Blackwater 100 racers fly and float through the famous Hwy 93 river crossing and then meet a wall of crazy spectators who wait to do all in the ir power to either hinder or assist the riders . Dependi ng on the pe rceived effort each rider is giving the unforgiving Blackwater cou rse, the Hwy 93 "Mud-Fleas" take an act ive part in the race by conve rging on any rider at any time and literally pull ing a machine up the mud hill, with or without the rider in the saddle. Whethe r it's river crossings, mud bogs, roc ky terrain, forest t rails, o r walls of rowdy spectators, Blackwater 100 is an absolute must own for any motorsports fan.
