secondary t h r ottl e valves and 32-bit ECU for super-responsive, in stantan eo u s
power delivery, elim inating t he s uction-piston vacuum slides. The cylinder head
has been reangled 40 degrees f o rward In st e a d of 30 to optimize weight
d istribu1ion, to straighten ou1 the intake tracts for Im p rov ed cylinder f illing, and to
a llow the frame to pass over instead of around the engine for greater strength.
The all-new, aluminum Deltabox main-frame ralls pass over the engine in st ea d of
around it, resulting in a structure that's considerably more ri gid . Overall frame
width is reduced from 464 to 395.6mm, which produces more comfortable
ergonomics as well as more efficient aerodynamic penetration. Front-end
geometry has Smm m ore fork offset, and the trail is r ed uc ed from 103mm to
97mm for quicker st eering.
